Weekend activities. This week: Boiler replacement.
The total lack of warm water and the recent drop in temperature forced us to replace our warm water boiler. With the professional help of Herbert and Stephan. The DIY heart of mine jumps with joy and pride looking at our new archievement. However, the soup we retrieved from our old boiler was quite a view. To think that we washed ourselves with this and felt clean afterwards…

Some like it warm on summer evenings
Another highlight of summers in Graz: Film classics at Franziskanerplatz. This years seris started with “Some like it hot”. Still a hilarious comedy after all those years. Fun times.
Did I mention that the showings are free? Just take a seat. Wonderful warm evening. Photo is borrowed from Metroblogging Graz because the dog ate my camera.
Relaxed Working
This is me (my feet) at Starbucks Vienna. Using some extra time between meetings for the finishing touches for my presentation at Lowe GGK. They happen to be 50 metres up the road from Starbucks. How convenient.
Concert on Schlossberg
Had a wonderful mellow summer evening when we went up the Schlossberg to listen to the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra in the Kasematten, a wonderful event spot in the remnants of the Graz Schlossberg fortress. Just sat down along with many other people outside the concert venue. A very pleasant way to spend an evening in Graz. In fact, Graz in summer is close to perfect. Heidi, obviously, also enjoyed it.
